WHAT WE DO

The Omicron Nu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated was established in the District of Kentucky as the 623rd Chapter of the Fraternity.

The Chapter provides advocacy and support to the three surrounding communities of Elizabethtown, Radcliff and the greater Fort Knox area. This geographical area serves as the Hardin County KY Seat and the home of the United States Bullion Depository.  Omicron Nu Lambda is known as the military chapter of Kentucky due to a large portion of its members are current or prior military affiliates.  The Chapter is ever present in the communities it serves through its close association with Community Churches, Civic Organizations, Political Activists and Business Owners.

The Chapter contributes immensely to the youth of the community through its partnerships with elementary schools, mentorship programs and local Troops of the Boy Scouts of America.

Their donations to scholarships, commitment of time rendered during reading programs and sponsorship of recreational activity makes a tremendous impact on the youth in the community.  Members of Omicron Nu Lambda are annual supporters of the March of Dimes-March for Babies and the Big Brothers-Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake programs. The Chapter also serves as advisors and mentors to two Undergraduate Chapters located at Western Kentucky University and Murray State University.

Omicron Nu Lambda is in its third decade of service to society and still seeking ways to aid those in need.  Each member of Omicron Nu Lambda lives and stands by the Fraternities’ our motto of “First of all, Servants of all, we shall transcend all”.
